Dream Catcher, and Other Boats
Shot with a Tokina AF 50-135mm f/2.8 AT-X lens. This lens was an offshoot from a Pentax lens with an identical optical configuration but designed to fit and communicate with other manufacturers' cameras - in this case, Nikon. It is extremely well built and a nice size for a light 70-210mm full frame equivalent; optically it delivers crisp and contrasty pictures as well. Relatively few were made because of a short production run, caused by Nikon in particular concentrating on consumer cameras which used only lenses with an AF motor built in. For pro and semi-pro DX cameras, with a screw-drive in the body, this lens is a good piece of kit.
